Visiting Bryan

18
A lot of people have asked if they can come and see Bryan. Unfortunately at this point, that is not a possibility. He is still in the Intensive Care Unit and visitors are limited to immediate family only. Even when Bryan is moved out of the ICU, he will be in a room where visitors will be limited. And more important than the hospital rules is the fact that Bryan NEEDS his rest - which seems to be a struggle right now.

We understand that you want to see him but we need to do what's best for Bryan. Please leave us comments on this blog and we will pass your messages on to him. He is encouraged by your love and prayers.

Hey Uncle Bryan,
I'm praying for you. Hope you feel better. I'm feeling kind of crappy too. My parents keep telling me that it's all in my head. I guess we have something in common. (not really)

Bryan and Michelle - you and your family are on our thoughts daily. Each morning at breakfast, we pray with the kids: Be with Mr. Zandstra who hurt his head. Strength and courage to you both. God is bigger than this and you are being cared for in the palm of His hand. Love to you both.

Bryan and Michelle,

Our family is praying for you - Bryan that you would have a full recovery and that God would guard over your mind and heart and grant you His peace, as well as restful, healing sleep. Michelle, we are praying that you would continue to trust in Him for physical and emotional strength for each moment of caring for your children and caring for your husband.

Dear Bryan, Michelle and all the Zandstra family,

Though it has been many years since I have seen most of you, please know that you have been in my thoughts and prayers continually since I heard about Bryan. As some one who also can't "sit still long" either, I know that the recovery and rest will be the hardest part for Bryan.
Thank you for keeping us up to date on his progress and know that my prayers, as well as those of my family (the Bakkers) will continue.
