Tuesday, April 20, 2010 - late evening

Bryan is out of surgery after five hours. Praise God! He is alert, responding and obeying commands. The surgeon said it went well but he was very clear in saying that Bryan is not “out of the woods” yet. The first five hours are very critical as he is at risk of stroke and further bleeding into the brain which is very dangerous and not something we want to think about. Another CT scan will be done tomorrow to confirm that the surgery did what it was suppose to and to check the status of both aneurysms.
